Here's an in-progress (essentially done) update of my self-portrait project. I really wanted to get the feeling I captured in last semester's sketchbook project back into this, since that became so personal and cathartic for me. I'll hopefully get that scanned and uploaded soon. Either way, here's this:

Really cool stuff. The color and layout work well and depict your design style nicely. I really enjoy the sketch book overlays. Its a subtle touch that really caries weight. Im glad you do your best work on the toilet.
ReplyDeleteThese fish are freaking me out swimming around while I leave a comment! :) I really like this approach and think the imagery of you in the background is hauntingly beautiful. Unexpected and clever and rather David Lynch in it's texture. The B/W with the yellow/red is a fresh look at your designs and speaks of your interest in that color palette as well. Nice.
